K2K was awarded the contract to construct the Technology Business Incubation Centre at MNIT Jaipur — a premier National Institute of Technology and one of India's top engineering institutions. The facility provides workspace, prototyping labs, and mentoring infrastructure for student and faculty startups.
Scope of Work
The project encompassed full civil construction of a multi-storey incubation building: RCC frame, brick masonry, internal plastering and painting, commercial-grade flooring, suspended ceilings in collaboration spaces, and complete MEP installation including data-ready conduit runs throughout.
Challenges
Construction within an active university campus requires careful management of access, noise, and working hours. K2K coordinated closely with the MNIT estate office to schedule heavy works during academic breaks and to ensure zero disruption to adjacent teaching blocks and laboratories.
Outcome
The Incubation Centre was handed over to MNIT in 2022 and is now home to multiple active startups. The project demonstrated K2K's ability to deliver institutional-grade construction under the governance and compliance standards required by a centrally funded technical institution.
