K2K delivered an industrial shed cum building for JBB Stones India Pvt. Ltd. in Gidani. The facility serves the stone processing and trading operations of the client, providing covered workspace for cutting, finishing, and storage of stone products.
Scope of Work
The scope covered the full civil construction of a large-span industrial shed with an integrated building block: structural steel framing, pre-engineered roofing, heavy-duty concrete flooring suitable for stone processing equipment, and external civil works including yard hardstanding.
Challenges
Stone processing facilities place extreme demands on floor slabs due to the weight of stone blocks and the vibration of cutting equipment. K2K designed and constructed a reinforced slab specification that accommodated these loads while remaining within the client's budget.
Outcome
The facility was handed over to JBB Stones India in 2023 and supports their stone processing operations.
