JCB Ancillary Unit

K2K constructed an ancillary manufacturing unit for Kamal Coach Pvt. Ltd. within the Mahindra Special Economic Zone on the outskirts of Jaipur. The unit supplies precision-fabricated components to the JCB supply chain operating out of the same SEZ.

Scope of Work

The project involved the construction of a heavy industrial shed with crane gantry provisions, high-bay lighting, three-phase power infrastructure, and a dedicated component despatch bay. A small administrative block was built adjacent to the factory floor for the client's production management team.

Challenges

Working within an active SEZ added coordination overhead — entry protocols, material movement permissions, and interface with the SEZ authority's own civil works running concurrently on the site boundary. K2K's site management team handled all regulatory interfaces, allowing the client to focus on production setup.

Outcome

The unit was handed over in 2024 and is currently operational within the JCB ancillary supply chain.
